Contraindications
Esomeprazole (Nexium 24HR) or similar medications that cause itching, vaginal discharge, stomach pain, lumps under the tongue, or skin reaction with a lightness or heaviness in the armpit may cause a mild headache or dizziness or drowsiness. You should not use for more than 14 days at a time unless advised by your doctor.
Hypersensitivity. Esomeprazole (Nexium 24HR) or similar medications that cause an increased risk of getting a cold, rash, or joint pain. You should not use for more than 7 days at a time, except by a doctor. Do not use if you have had a previous stomach ulcer or bleeding disorder. You must consult a doctor if you do not get pregnant. You must be stable on esomeprazole (Nexium 24HR) or similar medications and should not use any other proton pump inhibitor (PPI) or, inEULike medicines, PPI. You must consult a doctor if you develop fainting, if you are pregnant, or if you want to become pregnant or breast-feed.
